What will you do in the valley?

Job 2:10  But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

Job 2:11  Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this evil that was come upon him, they came every one from his own place; Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite: for they had made an appointment together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.

Job 2:12  And when they lifted up their eyes afar off, and knew him not, they lifted up their voice, and wept; and they rent every one his mantle, and sprinkled dust upon their heads toward heaven.

Job 2:13  So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.

Job was going through the hardest time he has ever been through in these verses.  He just lost all of his children, lost all of his wealth, his most trusted person in his life told him to curse God and die, and his “friends” are coming over now and will be extremely judgemental to him and his situation.  He was very low in his life.  You could probably say that he was depressed.  Job was in a low state and then 11 chapters later after he wallowed in his misery he makes the following statement:Job 13:15  Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
