What God Wants You To Know

Joh 10:27  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, andthey follow me:

Joh 10:28  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Joh 10:29  My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

Joh 10:30  I and my Father are one.

Hidden in this chapter are 3 verses that seemingly jump off the page at me.  Think about this next statement, God wants you to know that once you are saved, you are saved FOREVER!!  That is the main theme of verses 28-30. Why would He implement this?

I believe God brought this about because He is a God of stability.  God does not want instability in our lives.  He wants us to be able to count on Him all the time.  He is our stability.  Look at these next few verses.

Mal 3:6  For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Heb 13:8  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Eph 4:4  There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

Eph 4:5  One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Eph 4:6  One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

When the storms of life come our way, we should look to the unchanging Lighthouse in our life…Jesus Christ.  Remember, God is not the author of confusion.  He is the author of Stability.  This is a reason why we should stick with the King James Bible.  The same “old paths” that were good enough for our parents and grandparents and their grandparents are good enough for you and me.  Where instability is, there is confusion.
