9 Nor’s to Encourage You

Romans 8:35-39
(35)  Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
(36)  As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
(37)  Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
(38)  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
(39)  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We, that is you and me, have an enemy. He is Satan, the devil. He is horrible, terrible, cruel, mean, wicked, full of wretchedness and filthy. I hate the devil. The devil wants to hurt us. The devil wants to destroy us. The devil wants to lead us astray from God. The devil wants get us away from God to make us vulnerable to his wiles. Just as a lion hunts for the weak and very young, so likewise the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour.

1 John 4:19
(19)  We love him, because he first loved us.

The devil hates you because God loves you. The devil wants to separate you from the Love of God, but he can’t…HA HA! God loves you and the devil cannot do anything to stop it! Think about that … God….Loves….you! God is so powerful, that their is not any thing that can separate us from His love. Look above to verses 38 and 39. Their is 1 “neither” and 9 “Nor’s” that should encourage you. They are used to describe God’s limitation in our lives. Nothing can separate us from God’s love…NOT EVEN THE CORONAVIRUS…LOL. God loves us so much!

Just a simple thought today…God loves you and nothing can keep you from receiving God’s love! Take a moment and thank Him for His wonderful love that cannot be kept from His people! Thank you God!
